The Thistleblower

Welcome to this week's edition of The Thistleblower.

Despite the fact that the housing market has had to overcome some major challenges this year, what with the increase in stamp duty for second home and investment buyers, Brexit, the American election and most recently, the Autumn budget, it's been quite clear over the last few weeks in particular that the local market is made of much sturdier stuff.

Having arranged over 70% more sales this November as against last, as well as having conducted more market appraisals and launching more houses for sale, we believe that the general public, whilst very aware of what is going on in the world, are taking the decision that moving home must still happen, irrespective of the many economic and political distractions.

Looking ahead to the new year, we are confident that locally, the balance between supply and demand will ensure that anyone looking to moving home should do so with confidence.
