The Thistleblower

Welcome to the first edition of the Thistleblower of 2016.

I have to say, I’m encouraged by the level of activity since the turn of the year with plenty of people obtaining valuations which is always the start of the house selling process in our business.  We have also agreed a healthy number of new sales as buyers recognise supply is still tight and likely to remain so. Our Lettings Department are also very busy and have let three apartments in Hartley Wintney in the first week of the month.  January can sometimes be a little slow to get going so this is all very encouraging.

Our Land Department has followed suit with a number of successes.  The largest of these being an appeal win for the construction of 84 houses in the Woking area along with favourable planning committee decisions on sites in Yateley, Fleet and Sherfield on Loddon.  These sites will produce much needed housing for the area and further information will follow once construction starts.

Whether you are selling, letting or just requiring advice on any property matter we’d love to hear from you to see how we can help.

The very best to everyone for 2016.
