With the summer now drawing to a close we turn our thoughts to the final quarter of the year. The theme throughout 2015 has been based on a lack of available property; however this is due to sales being agreed very swiftly. This trend is still very much apparent as we move into the autumn market and whilst the seemingly limited supply poses a problem to buyers, it’s important to note that 2015 has seen an increase in units sold, year on year.
2015 has been a very fast paced market with high demand, enabling clients to agree sales incredibly quickly. This type of market in itself can lead to the belief that there is a little supply, when in fact, the reality is that the supply simply doesn’t stay available for very long.
This highlights the importance more than ever, that anyone who wishes to move house must put themselves in a position buy first.
If you are considering moving home, 2015 still offers a fantastic market place in which to sell, but it is important to note that Christmas will be upon us before we know it. With this in mind I would encourage anyone considering a move, to act now.
