The Thistleblower

Welcome to this week's edition of The Thistleblower.

Happy new year to all of our clients, contacts, and communities. Not quite the start to the year that we all anticipated and hoped for, but we do hope you're keeping well, all things considered.

We've updated our covid guidelines and advice on our website but in essence, the current government guidance is as follows: "You can still move home. People outside your household or support bubble should not help with moving house unless absolutely necessary. Estate and letting agents and removals firms can continue to work. If you are looking to move, you can go to property viewings. Follow the national guidance on moving home safely, which includes advice on social distancing, letting fresh air in, and wearing a face covering." For more information, do visit our covid guidelines online.

Our teams are all on hand to answer your queries and help achieve your 2021 moving goals.

Lockdown update from our Chairman

Following last night’s announcement of the new lockdown, effective immediately, we wanted to reassure you of our plans. The government has confirmed that house moves can go ahead, and the housing market will remain open throughout the lockdown period.
Renters and homeowners can still move and view.
Removal firms and estate agents can stay open.
Construction sites can continue.
Tradespeople can enter homes.
