Welcome to this week's edition of The Thistleblower.

Another weekend, another bank holiday - the season is certainly here, but that doesn't seem to be stopping prospective house buyers, as we're seeing more sales than this time last year. We've also seen strong sales of new homes, no doubt helped by the benefits of Help to Buy and Part Exchange available on many of the sites, we've delved into the stats for this in the below blog. 
Please be aware that we will be closed for Bank Holiday Monday (6th), but otherwise open as usual.

Help to Buy popularity

Data released this week shows that the popularity of the Government’s Help to Buy equity scheme is on the rise.
Since its introduction in April 2013, over 210,000 homeowners have benefited from the use of this scheme, allowing them to purchase a brand new home with a 5% deposit, supported by a 20% Government loan.
