Welcome to this week's edition of The Thistleblower.
Another week, another Brexit ‘development’. For as long as I have been in the property industry, we have been ‘Brexiting’.
I joined shortly after the referendum, 3 years later and on the day we were supposed to leave...again, here we are. With the recent goings on it certainly feels like 'one step forward and two steps back', but don’t fret, this isn’t going to be another lengthy Brexit analysis.
Since I started with Mackenzie Smith, we have promoted over 40 new homes sites which are either sold or selling, we've expanded from 5 to (soon) 7 branches, enhanced the size of our teams, invested in our people, invested in our marketing, and on top of all that we’ve today celebrated our most successful month of business ever - in 27 years! But most notably, we’ve helped countless people achieve their moving goals.
Brexit may be here, but people still want to move. As long as we’re realistic, positive and driven, Brexit can carry on… but so will we!
